The Abuja I Believe Carnival is looking for passionate and dedicated volunteers to help make this year's event a huge success! This vibrant celebration of culture, unity, and community needs enthusiastic individuals who are eager to contribute their time and skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Event Setup and Breakdown
- Assist with setting up stages, booths, and decorations before the carnival begins.
- Help with dismantling and cleaning up after the event concludes.
2. Information Booth Attendants
- Provide information and assistance to attendees.
- Distribute maps, schedules, and answer questions.
3. Parade Marshals
- Guide and assist parade participants.
- Ensure the smooth flow of the parade and manage crowd control.
4. Safety and Security Assistants
- Support the security team in monitoring the event.
- Help with crowd management and report any safety concerns.
5. Hospitality and Guest Services
- Welcome and assist VIP guests and performers.
- Ensure that guests have a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
6. First Aid and Medical Support
- Provide basic first aid assistance.
- Support medical professionals in case of emergencies.
7. Waste Management and Recycling
- Help keep the carnival grounds clean.
- Promote recycling and proper waste disposal.
8. Performance and Stage Assistants
- Assist performers with their needs.
- Manage backstage areas and coordinate performances.

3. Commit to a Minimum of 8 hours/week: We appreciate your time and dedication.
Important Information
- Event Dates: 4-11TH NOVEMBER 2024
- Location: Abuja continental hotel, Central park Abuja and the Eagle square and other designated venues of the carnival
- Volunteer Training: All volunteers will receive training and a briefing before the event.
